We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Girls' P.E to join our vibrant and dedicated team on a full-time maternity cover basis from April 2025 to April 2026. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a motivated individual with a passion for inspiring young people through sport, and we welcome applicants with all specialisms and levels of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
- Encourage participation and foster a positive attitude toward physical fitness and wellbeing
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Contribute to the development of extracurricular sports programs
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of teachers and staff to support student development
- Provide regular feedback to students and parents, ensuring their progression is tracked and supported
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching P.E to KS3 and KS4 students
- Enthusiastic about teaching sport, with a commitment to promoting physical activity
- Able to work effectively with students of all abilities and backgrounds
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school sports teams
- Open to teachers of all specialisms within sport (e.g. netball, football, gymnastics, athletics, etc.)
