Salary: £25,500 - £26,500

Shift Patterns:

  • Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and growing company. The ideal candidate will have experience within a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of stock control and warehouse operations. This role offers a competitive salary and the potential for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Goods In & Parts Control: Collection, receiving, storage, kitting, and labelling of parts.
  • Goods Shipment Control: Preparation of manual packs, packing units, managing the movement of units between warehouses, and delivering components to suppliers.
  • System Maintenance: Update and maintain the Sage system for all related tasks.
  • Stock Control: Allocation of stock on a first-in-first-out basis, ensuring stock bins are topped up from overflow stock.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure both the internal and external working environment remains clean and organized.
  • Support Manufacturing: Assist in filter manufacture as required.
  • Flexibility: Perform other duties as necessary to support the team.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Health & Safety Awareness: Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Forklift Truck License (Optional): A forklift truck operation license is desirable but not essential.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in using internal systems, including the Sage system.
  • Training: Product training and familiarization with IT systems. Health & Safety procedures training.

Performance Measures:

  • Efficient control of goods in and goods out.
  • Excellent housekeeping and tidiness in the workplace.
  • Adherence to health and safety practices with zero accidents.
  • Ability to flexibly undertake other duties as required.
