Teach Plus are currently working with a primary school located in Barking & Dagenham, who are seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to start in April. The school is a welcoming, supporting primary school where children are genuinely happy to come to school and learn. The school are looking for a confident, knowledgeable Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join them ASAP. As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will be required to:
- Take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
- Use a range of different primary class teacher strategies and resources to support pupils' learning and development, including learning through play, phonics, and early numeracy skills.
- Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression.
- Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the education and training of the pupils.
- Be able to undertake long-term work in Barking & Dagenham.
The ideal candidate for the Early Career Teacher (ECT) role will have:
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for education and training.
- Recent primary class teacher experience within a primary school setting.
- Ability to travel consistently to Barking & Dagenham.
- UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
- Right to work in the UK.
