Our client is a large plastic injection moulding manufacturer with large blue chip clients and they are in the process of expanding their production. The opportunity is for a skilled setter / technician to join this well established business. Job Responsibilities: * Change over tools and trialling any new jobs * Optimising efficiency of the other jobs and resolving any issues relating to production in a timely manner * Monitor the quality of the moulds to ensure they comply with regular quality checks and minimise the amount of moulds sent to scrap * Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure that 5S is followed throughout the manufacturing * Liasing with production planners in regards to any problems that occur and assisting where possible with any amendments / repairs Job Requirements: * Past experience within a similar role * Good knowledge of injection moulding and some extrusion * Ideally would drive and have their own transport * Excellent communicator with an enthusiastic attitude Hours: * Week 1: 6am-6pm Monday- Thursday * Week 2: 6pm-6am Monday- Thursday This shift pattern will rotate on a weekly basis
