Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Project Manager to join a leading consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre individual to join with a clear pathway to promotion to Senior Project Manager whilst in post.\\nThis role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all project management services on a number of interesting projects.\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n * Support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances\\n * Carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures\\n * Comply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategies\\n * Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards\\n * Manage and prepare key stage reports from feasibility through to completion and post-handover\\n * Prepare various programmes\\n * Manage meetings, taking and preparing minutes\\n * Prepare progress reports and present them at monthly client meetings\\n * Run a competitive tender process, including managing queries from tendering contractors\\n * Manage multiple projects on ‘LIVE’ operational sites\\n * Assist with the preparation of contract documents\\n * Manage multi-disciplinary project teams\\n * Administer building contracts\\n * Demonstrate retail sector experience, particularly multi-site retail roll-out project experience taking full ownership from project brief to final completion and occupation\\nPerson Specification:\\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, proactive approach to the role and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with strong commercial results.\\n * Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction-related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar role gained within a consultancy or end-user client\\n * Strong JCT contract administration experience\\n * Ability to work on own initiative is imperative being part of a UK-wide team\\n * Ideally MRICS / MCIOB or equivalent professional qualification but not essential\\n * Ability to identify and develop potential opportunities to secure more business\\n * Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute\\n * Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal\\n * Excellent customer service, communication, and client/external interface skills\\n * A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines\\n * A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, and flexible\\nApply with your CV today to register your interest
