Due to our continuous growth at RSS Infrastructure, we are seeking Signalling Technicians/Installers with SMTH for Signalling (S&T) Maintenance in Hereford. This is a great opportunity for Full Time, Mid Week, Nights and Weekends, for a minimum of 6 months.
Duties:
- Carry out maintenance work on signalling equipment in line with Network Rail standards and schedules.
- Perform fault-finding tasks.
- Assist in investigating safety standards and system failures.
- Work with and support the development of the signalling team.
- Report any issues arising during maintenance, installation, and renewals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Signalling Technician/Installer with SMTH.
- Must hold a minimum SMTH core qualification, including points, cables, diversion of circuits, aspect testing, and G110 testing.
- Car driver with the ability to travel and work away from home if necessary.
- Ability to work nights and weekends when required.
Additional Competencies and Experience Required:
- DC, EBI, Quick Release Track Circuits RCPL, Mechanical and HW Points Mechanical, LED, and Filament Signals and ancillaries TPWS, AWS Route Relay Interlocking COSS, PC, PTS, Site Warden.
