We are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider to recruit for a Maintenance Surveyor on an initial temporary basis.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Surveyor:
- Providing an efficient inspection and surveying service to the companies housing stock and related assets, including those surrounding damp and mould.
- Conducting ongoing repairs and maintenance surveys and progress reports, and updating information as required.
- Providing guidance, technical support, and direction when appropriate.
- Undertaking pre and post inspections.
- Maintaining in depth knowledge of relevant legislation including UK building regulations.
- Producing project design, tender and contract documentation.
Requirements of the Maintenance Surveyor:
- Previous experience conducting maintenance surveys.
- Social housing experience is desirable.
