Staffpower Group are recruiting for a Production Planner for our client based in Gateshead. The role will be to support the Production Department by co-ordinating production workflow, ensuring that manufactured goods are produced in a cost-effective way which meets quality specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning of production jobs for the three production processes using Tharstern ERP system.
- Ensuring work to lists are distributed to Production departments.
- Organisation of Job Sheets for digital roll printing.
- Daily communication of plan attainment to Production and Commercial teams.
- Dealing with changes in the production plan for production issues and short lead time orders.
- Ordering of raw materials for production jobs.
- Communicating with suppliers on material forecasts and issues.
Other duties:
- Ensure the production and distribution of products runs smoothly.
- Improve Company's production and distribution processes.
Permanent Role
Salary: (phone number removed)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 0745 to 1615 and Friday 0745 to 1345 (these can be flexible)
25 days holiday
