We have an exciting opportunity available for a Quality Technician based close to the Lutterworth area. The position is working with an internationally respected manufacturer who have multiple sites across the UK and throughout the rest of the world. This role reports into the Quality Manager and will act as key interface between the operational team and the Plant management to ensure a consistent approach and achievement of CI targets.
Standard Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06:00 - 16:00 (Monday-Thursday) 06:00 - 14:00 (Friday)
Overtime: 9 hours at 50% rate
Salary: £13.28 per hour (approx. £36,250 per year)

Quality Technician Role Summary: As a Quality Operator, you will ensure products meet required quality standards and support the Plant Quality Manager in driving continuous operational improvement. This key role acts as a liaison between the operational and management teams to achieve quality and improvement targets at the plant.
Main Responsibilities of Quality Technician:
- Perform quality testing on finished products.
- Ensure calibration and proper functioning of testing equipment.
- Oversee product inspection and accurate data reporting in SAP.
- Identify and report nonconformities or faults in SAP.
- Conduct weekly audits of quality areas.
- Lead and participate in process improvements and problem-solving.
Essential Skills & Experience of Quality Technician:
- Experience as a quality technician or inspector.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Competent IT user.
Desirable Skills & Experience of Quality Technician:
- Experience with SAP PM module (HANNA/S4).
- Green Belt Six Sigma certification.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing.
