Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business. We are looking for a Head Chef to lead our catering team in our amazing Lavender Lodge. This is a fabulous opportunity for any experienced head chef or ambitious senior sous offering straight shifts, no evenings. To work 4 days during the week plus alternate weekends, with the added benefit of having Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Sunday off. As a Head Chef you will: Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen Be managing and motivating a professional brigade Ensure that ongoing training and development is offered to all members of the team Possess excellent man management and kitchen management skills Be a creative and talented chef who can lead their team by example and inspire them Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines Benefits Competitive salary 28 days holidays per year Fantastic discounts after 3 months Free Parking Uniform Only applicants successfully shortlisted for interviews will be contacted.
