Position: Sales Executive - Logistics
Contract Type: Permanent - 40 hours per week
Location: Logistics Surrey, Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh GU6 8TB
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm

About the role: Duties include:
- Research, obtain leads and set up meetings with suitable clients
- Actively and successfully manage the sales process
- Acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities for both networks are captured and explored
- Be accountable for all customer proposals, SLA's, contracts, and any further documentation
- Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
- Maintain and update the Company's CRM system
- Report weekly sales activity to General Manager
- Efficiently track all new pallet volumes
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
- Liaise with the Finance Team and Operational departments as appropriate
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
- Complaint handling to manage customer expectations and provide efficient solutions
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a sales role
- Strong ability to generate and convert leads, with a successful sales track record
- Exceptional customer engagement and communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised and excellent planning skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic and can work on own initiative
- A positive and resilient attitude
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office
