We are now on the look out for an experienced Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant or Kitchen Steward to be based in South Northamptonshire and working for a prestigious catering unit covering in excess of 1000 meals per day over 3 services: breakfast, lunch and dinner. This role will be a 13-week temporary contract paid weekly and once you have completed the 13 weeks temporary assignment, you will be entitled to the company benefits and perks. Pay rate c.£13.13ph PAYE.
Role: Kitchen Porter, Full Time 5 out of 7 days per week. Early and late shifts, typically 45 hours per week. You will be paid c.£30,700 per annum + overtime + benefits.
Required:
- Kitchen experience of at least 12 months
- A steady career history with evidence including CV and references
- Speed and efficiency to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Punctuality, professionalism and presentable
- UK Right to Work and at least 5 years of working in the UK
- Clear English both written and verbal
- UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Desirable:
- High volume high quality background within a kitchen environment
- Ability to work overtime when the business requires
- In date food hygiene or food safety qualification level 2
- Enhanced DBS clearance
