Position Overview: As an Installation and Testing Engineer, you will predominantly be responsible for the installation, testing and maintenance of the installed machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation systems and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and electrical repair of factory machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing and diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing electrical and automation tasks.
- Provide technical support and training to client’s maintenance and production staff.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical installation / testing engineer within a factory environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical system issues using diagnostic tools and software.
- Familiarity with factory equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
