A leading Engineering business in the Oil & Gas sector are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join their team in Warrington. The successful Mechanical Technician will be very practical and able to assemble, test, calibrate and install a wide range of equipment, record their findings accurately and make occasional visits to customer sites for product demonstrations. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer with excellent hands-on skills. You will work in a small and tight-knit team and have plenty of scope to grow and take on more responsibility. This could be additional duties, product development or travel opportunities for the right candidate. You should have a genuine passion for engineering and be happy to work closely with like-minded people!
Mechanical Technician requirements:
- Apprentice trained / time-served Mechanical Engineer (or similar)
- Precision mechanical assembly
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings & CAD models
- Experience with pressure systems & pipes / fittings
- Genuine passion for engineering!
