Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a background in simulation machinery or similar looking to step into one of the industry's leading names taking charge of a team of engineers to work on a range of machinery that will help train the pilots of the future? This company has trained numerous pilots over the years and provides their staff support with an open line of communication between management and their engineers.
In this role, you will be carrying out the day-to-day maintenance of up to 4 full flight simulators, training junior technicians, and communicating with the pilots. You will also perform secondary duties such as calibrations and tool inspections, as well as logistical duties including parts received, repair, testing/validation, and administrative tasks as required. This job entails a variable shift pattern, whether that be day or night shifts.
This role would suit a maintenance engineer with a background in simulation machines who desires a management role with the possibility of progression. The company is constantly looking for ways to create a more advanced training experience with new training tools being added to the systems regularly.
