Job Summary The purpose of the job is to assist the Communication and Social Media Manager with the implementation of the communication strategy for the London School’s online and offline creative campaigns and assets production and local events in line with the Group’s Corporate Identity standards and guidelines. The role will consist of collaborative working within the London School and external stakeholders to support with the planning and implementation of projects related to brand communications, events, promotional materials. Key purpose of the role Work with the brand compliance in all the School communication activities, protecting the brand ‘tone of voice’; Support and help deliver all internal and external communications projects following the company’s strategy; Support the London School’s on line and off line communication plan; Keep communication and events timelines on track and regularly update calendars; Support with the organisation and promotion of the London School related events, including Open Days, industry/partnerships events, panel talks, fashion shows, etc; Graphic design of visual marketing, promotional materials, and, when required, social media assets creation; Support and creation of video assets (filming and post-production) Support the Communications Manager with the maintenance of the Istituto Marangoni London’s social media; Maintain the in-house press & invitation mailing list, press & media archive, marketing and advertising clippings and contact details of local media; Assist with the process and collection of content from wider school for Communications materials; Regularly gathering the necessary information to support the web development team; Collaborate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the London School to further support the success of group and local strategies; To support the Communications and Social Media Manager with any further task that the role may require. Education and skills Degree in Communication, Visual Design, Marketing and Events is preferable; Excellent written and spoken English; Strong interest in fashion/ design / higher education area; Graphic design and videography skills including image content creation and promotional materials; Ability to use Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro) & and Microsoft Office Pack, plus other creative digital tools; Experience in supporting events is a plus; Experience in the use of social media platforms and best practices; Up-to-date knowledge & understanding of digital marketing; Enthusiastic, positive person who thrives in fast paced environments and in teamwork; Creative thinker with strong people skills; Excellent organisational skills; Dynamic and proactive; Previous experience in a similar role is a plus; Previous experience in the luxury sector is a plus.
