We are looking to recruit a Adult Qualified Social Worker - EDT within the Social Care industry in Manchester area. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels. The Children Qualified Social Worker - EDT vacancy in Rochdale will be for a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake assessments of need and produce support plans which reflect the needs and wishes of the individual
  • Responding appropriately to all calls received after office hours and at weekends and bank holidays, when on duty
  • Prioritise and delegate work in a timely manner appropriate to need
  • Ability to lone work, take responsibility for any situation that arises out of hours and to work alongside professionals from other agencies covering an out of hours emergency service
  • Maintain electronic case records for the individuals who you support
  • Person centred assessments as required by the Care Act (2014)
  • Assessments under the Deprivation of Liberties Safeguards, (DoLS)

Experience preferred:

  • Post qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker - EDT team within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

  • SWE Registration
  • 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
