Salary: £40,000 + commission + car allowance. 6 month guaranteed commission totalling £4k. OTE for Y2 onwards of £60,000+

Are you a seasoned PropTech Business Development Manager ready to make a real impact? UniHomes is seeking a passionate and driven individual to lead our Scottish expansion. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a rapidly growing company, playing a pivotal role in reshaping the UK's student rental market.

You will take ownership of building and nurturing your own client portfolio, engaging with, and onboarding new letting agents to the UniHomes platform, implementing and refining our business development strategies in Scotland, leveraging CRM analytics and ensuring the achievement of KPIs is met to deliver our ambitious targets.

As an adept new business developer, you will secure your own letting agent leads and build robust client connections, a feature that has been at the core of UniHomes' growth. You will bring an analytical mindset and provide both product and sales ideas to improve our growth strategy in Scotland.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and engage with potential student letting agents and property partners in Scotland to win new business.
  • Create and nurture your own B2B leads with a focus on turning those leads into new clients of UniHomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty, a fundamental element of UniHomes' success.
  • Develop and refine business development strategies tailored to the unique Scotland market and feedback any improvements to the Head of Sales.
  • Report and deliver on KPIs to drive our ambitious targets and growth objectives.
  • Serve as the key contact for addressing and resolving advertising issues for your client portfolio.
  • Utilise our CRM system, Salesforce, to track, analyse and optimise your sales activity.
  • Collaborate with our in-house marketing and technology teams to align strategies to achieve our growth.
  • A regular presence in Scotland to assist in the winning of new business.
  • Maintain high standards of account data within our CRM system to achieve the best opportunity in onboarding new clients.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven track record of B2B sales, ideally in the PropTech sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to analyse market and industry trends to support lead generation.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities and/or experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and driven by results and hitting targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and develop skills accordingly.
  • Excellent prioritising skills in a fast-moving market.
  • Hold a full valid UK driving licence.
