Job Description
Our client is a London-based fine art shipping and specialist art logistics provider, serving some of the world’s top galleries, museums, and private clients.
Their team consists of industry-leading talent with decades of experience in fine art logistics, installation, and storage.
They are now seeking an HGV Driver to cover European routes. Although based in Middlesex, you will frequently be in Europe, often on a weekly basis.
The role primarily involves warehouse-to-warehouse transport, with occasional direct deliveries, installations, and art fairs, along with some London-based work.
While previous experience in artwork installation is beneficial, it’s not essential. However, fine art handling experience is a requirement, including the ability to load, secure, and manage import/export paperwork.
The salary for this position is £45K – £48K, with time spent abroad paid at 1.65x the usual day rate. Additionally, there is a per diem of £45 for most locations, with £65 for Switzerland and Southern France.
Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV vehicles for European routes, primarily warehouse-to-warehouse.
- Conduct direct deliveries and installations when required.
- Handle art fairs and occasional London-based routes.
- Safely load and secure fine art for transport.
- Manage import/export paperwork for international shipments.
- Ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Collaborate with the logistics team for scheduling and coordination.

- Fine art handling experience is required.
- HGV license with relevant driving experience.
