Job Description
Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Yard Supervisor who's as passionate about great service as we are.
We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with ample opportunities for career growth, along with a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 33 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
Hours 07.30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 0800-1200
Location; Jewson, Easthampstead Road, Bracknell, RG12 1NU
Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects

Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice

Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning

Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed

Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products. Work proactively to reduce stock loss

Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts

Ensure policies and procedures are followed. Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority

Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
