Job Description
Freightserve are looking to recruit a Cargo Reservations Supervisor for a Heathrow based GSA. The GSA is based in the Heathrow area.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Process air cargo bookings
- Overseeing staff and department
- Working closely with management
- Deal directly with customers and suppliers
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle bookings, pricing and service inquiries, flight and truck planning
- Anticipate and respond promptly to operational issues
- Attend handling company offices and warehouse as necessary (PPE provided)
- Postflights and onward transhipments follow up
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Written quotations and 'adhoc pricing’
- Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints and actions taken
- Follow up on customer interactions
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
- Organise workflow to meet customer timeframes
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the correct departments
- Create and maintain all computer records as necessary
Requirements:-
- Customer service
- Knowledge of airline and cargo handling practices
- 5 year background check and Criminal Record declaration
- Air Cargo Security (training provided if necessary)
- IATA Dangerous Goods Awareness (training provided if necessary)
- Flexible approach
- Ability to work as a part of a team
Hours are based on a 37.5 hours working week. Working between 0800 &1800 dependent on rota Monday – Friday, plus week on call / weekend working approx 1 in 5, which is paid at £300.
