Jewson in KIRKCALDY is recruiting now for an ambitious TRADE COUNTER SALESASSISTANT with good customer service ability.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 730am to 5pm, every second Saturday 8am to 12noon
Location: Jewson, Smeaton Road, Kirkcaldy KY1 2HA
As a Trade Counter Assistant will have one of the most important roles within the branch.
You will regularly be the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch so you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience.
To support the team you will be;
- Dealing with customers face to face on counter
- Help to prepare customer orders ensuring accuracy at all times
- Deal with customer calls, emails and enquiries
- Showing an interest in Customer projects
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain warehouse stock level
- Carrying out regular stock counts
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
- Support with deliveries to client site as and when required

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
- Trade Counter Sales exposure
- First class Customer Service and Sales skills
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
