Job Description
I am currently recruiting for a property business based in the Wigan/Manchester area who is looking for a Management Accountant/Bookkeeper on a part time basis. Working for a very entrepreneurial business this role will be mainly based at home, offer flexi hours and is looking for someone who is a motivated self-starter.\\n\\nReporting to the CEO this is a standalone finance role (working with external accountants) so does require someone who is confident in their own ability.\\n\\nDuties of the role will include:\\n\\n * Ensure all finance functions and accounting records are maintained and monthly management accounts prepared accurately and in a timely manner.\\n\\n * Oversee all prime entry accounting tasks ensuring all income and costs have been appropriately approved, recorded accurately and VAT where applicable is correctly treated.\\n\\n * Additional ad hoc reporting tasks where required.\\n\\n * Assisting with budgeting and forecasting\\n\\n * Ensuring financial accuracy of multiple systems is maintained.\\n\\n * Reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts as part of the month end process.\\n\\n * Ensuring financial control and reporting is maintained and developed to support the growth of the business.\\n\\n * Working with multipole businesses withing the group on an intercompany level\\n\\n * Supporting with VAT & PAYE compliance\\n\\n * Experience of managing payroll would be preferred but not essential.\\n\\n * Low volume transactions- key is month end, payroll, tax, deferred income.\\n\\n * Working with the Business Owners to assist with any due diligence that could be needed for acquisitions and growth.\\n\\nYour Key Attributes/Experience:\\n\\n * Demonstrable experience with all aspects of financial control, management accounts and reporting\\n\\n * Competent in analysing and investigating data.\\n\\n * High level Excel skills\\n\\n * The ability to communicate in a clear, concise, logical and informative manner in order to build relationships with colleagues.\\n\\nThis is an excellent role for someone who is looking for part time/flexible hours
