** DISTRICT MANAGER – South West, West Midlands, Wales & Surrounding **

An exciting opportunity for a determined and career-minded individual to work for a highly reputable company! Our client, one of the world’s largest Beauty and Cosmetic Companies, are seeking a District Manager to join their team.

About Your Role:

As the District Manager, you'll be at the forefront of defining and spearheading a comprehensive business plan for the district. Your focus will be on optimizing business performance while uncovering new opportunities for growth. This pivotal role serves as the bridge between strategic vision and operational execution.

Your responsibilities will include streamlining cross-team efficiencies to drive overall business sales and profitability. Leading by example, you'll cultivate high-performing teams and foster a culture of excellence, supported by a cohesive people plan designed to meet key deliverables promptly.

Embracing the role of change ambassador, you'll actively engage stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment with the broader operational objectives of the company. With your strategic leadership and proactive approach, you'll be instrumental in driving the district towards sustained success and market leadership.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing a portfolio of retail sites across your district.
  • Develop, lead, and execute a District Business Plan focusing on sales, operational KPIs, costs, and people.
  • Utilize external market knowledge to adapt plans, challenging competitors and growing market share.
  • Analyse business reports to maximize district performance and coach Store Managers on interpreting management information.
  • Lead/stakeholder in key business projects.
  • Instil a culture of professional excellence in customer service through coaching conversations.
  • Coach teams to build strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty and trust.
  • Share customer insight locally and across the wider business.
  • Own and drive the people agenda for the district, engaging, hiring, developing, and retaining talent.
  • Drive the execution of company processes, controls, and effective operational management across stores.
  • Ensure correct standards of inventory control are implemented, reducing stock holdings and loss.

What Do I Need?

  • 2 + Years’ experience within managing multisite retail premises
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role
  • Residency in or around the South West, West Midlands, Wales & Surrounding.
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Clear direction, focus and expectations
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently
