We are a 2/3 form entry primary school in North London, Ofsted rated as Good. Our new Head Teacher, Mr. Luke Patterson, has been on board since September 2024 and has strategic and positive visions and goals for the school. Our school and staff members are friendly and professional, working as a team to support each other.

We are looking for a Business Administrator Apprentice to join our team.

Apprenticeship Summary:

  • Salary: £7.55 an hour
  • Working Week: Monday to Friday 8am – 3pm including a 1-hour break
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Online apprenticeship training supported by our skilled tutors
  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship standard qualification

The Role:

The Business Administrator Apprentice will provide vital assistance to the main school reception office, supporting the Office Manager and Receptionist with various tasks. This role involves answering phone calls, handling parent queries, managing administrative tasks, and supporting staff and students as needed. The individual will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and efficiency while assisting in smooth day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to the Office Manager and Receptionist with general office duties
  • Answer phone calls and address inquiries from parents, students, and staff
  • Handle parent queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform filing, shredding, and other clerical tasks as required
  • Fetch children from classrooms when requested or instructed by staff
  • Assist with SIMS MIS system data administration work
  • Prepare medical reports and documentation as needed
  • Support staff by providing necessary information or assistance
  • Cover office lunch breaks independently, ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area
