Apprenticeship Overview
- Salary: 7.55 per hour
- Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19 year olds
- Working week: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Duration: 16 months
- Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship standard qualification
- Online training supported by a dedicated tutor

As an Apprentice Administrator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the office through a variety of administrative and organisational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ordering office and health & safety supplies
- Processing sick returns and preparing invoices
- Assisting with analysis tasks (e.g. overtime tracking)
- Supporting rota updates and ADP data entry
- Maintaining electronic time and attendance records
- Preparing and archiving documents for Relief and EFS teams
- Assisting with annual audits including record management and archiving
- Supporting employee events and celebrations with preparation and coordination tasks
Essential Skills and Qualities
- Strong communication skills – confident over the phone, email and face‑to‑face
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Good time management – able to prioritise workload effectively
- Problem‑solving mindset, resourceful and able to think creatively
Desired Skills
- Ability to multi‑task and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- General administrative knowledge (filing, data entry, record‑keeping)
- Customer service experience beneficial but not essential
Training and Qualification
The successful candidate will obtain a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship standard qualification.
Each apprentice will have a dedicated tutor who will conduct monthly remote tutorials and reviews, providing continuous support throughout the apprenticeship program. The frequency of sessions may vary depending on the apprentice’s needs.

Pre‑employment Checks
Please be aware that upon a successful offer of employment the company completes digitalised right‑to‑work checks and DBS applications via an external provider – Matrix Screening.
