Job Description
Ventus International is an Edinburgh-based executive search and recruitment consultancy, with an exclusive focus on the renewable energy industry.\\n\\nWe have exciting growth plans – including international expansion – and have a strong track record supporting companies involved in the financing, development, execution and operation of renewable energy assets, globally.\\n\\nVentus covers all major technology markets. Including: onshore wind, offshore wind, solar, storage, power-to-x and marine renewables.\\n\\nAs part of our ambitious plans for growth, we are looking to speak with consultants of all experience levels (including those with no prior recruitment experience).\\n\\nVentus offers an industry-leading commission scheme, with no threshold. Additional benefits include: company pension, gym subsidy, mobile phone and laptop and consistent opportunities for salary increases in line with strong performance.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Play a key role in business growth, through consistent, high-quality delivery against core targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.\\n\\n * Full ‘360’ degree recruitment duties and responsibilities, including generation of sales opportunities and delivery-focused candidate sourcing and acquisition, including ownership of an agreed business plan.\\n\\n * Take responsibility for monthly and quarterly sales targets.\\n\\n * Undertake phone-based business development, making targeted and focused calls into both existing client base and prospective customers.\\n\\n * Meet and exceed weekly objectives:\\n\\n * Business Development calls – 10 / day\\n\\n * Candidate calls – 10 / day\\n\\n * High-quality submittals to clients – 15 / week\\n\\n * Scheduled first-stage interviews – 5 / week\\n\\n * Scheduled client meetings – 3 / week\\n\\n * Act as a brand ambassador for Ventus at all times; representing the business in key meetings, industry events and conferences.\\n\\n * Pitch for and secure retained, exclusive and executive search mandates across relevant markets.\\n\\n * Promote and position Ventus as the renewable energy industry’s ‘go-to’ search firm.\\n\\n * Establish, maintain and develop strong client relationships.\\n\\n * Set the standard on a daily basis for less experienced team members.\\n\\n * Keep fully up-to-speed on industry news, regulation, policy and legislation changes, in order to provide unrivalled market insights to our key clients.\\n\\n * Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective customers.\\n\\nEducation and Experience\\n\\n * Preferably degree-qualified.\\n\\n * Preferably experienced in recruitment or sales.\\n\\n * Passion for the renewable energy sector is essential.\\n\\n * Capable of working at pace, under pressure and to tight deadlines.\\n\\n * Willing to learn and develop, with a natural desire to outperform others.\\n\\n * Results-focused, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations.\\n\\n * Strong written and oral communication skills
