Job Description
Goldstar is a rapidly expanding Transport & Warehousing company dedicated to providing a fantastic customer experience. Winners of ''Haulier of the Year 2023' awarded by Motor Transport. As a growing and progressive company, we are looking to continue build the best team, to be the face of our brand.
We run a 24/7 operation, so work is available anytime, day or night.
HGV Class 1, 2, 3 and Van Drivers
Contract: Permanent
Overtime: Enhanced rate
Location: Heathrow Area
Salary: Depending on shift pattern and vehicle
Shift: Days, shift pattern/timings is fully flexible, 0 hour/part time contracts available, nights out/tramping

Main duties/responsibilities
- Operating commercial vehicles
- Load and unload goods
- Manual work
- Making sure loads are safely secured
- Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
- Carrying out basic routine maintenance
- Completing delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around check or any other documentation
- Following compliance, tacho master and other regulations and laws that are applicable
Technical Skills:
- A valid HGV license
- Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
- Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices
The successful candidate will:
- Be present with a Positive and Can-do attitude
- Be flexible and reliable
- Have great communication skills
- Be able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 10 weeks)
- Provide a full 5-year checkable history
- Hold a Clean Driving Licence
- Hold valid and up to date CPC
