With a fleet of over 500 transporters, we are part of the Constellation Automotive Group, which includes leading brands such as We Buy Any Car, Cinch, and British Car Auctions.
We’re looking for a professional and experienced Single Car Transporter Driver for a 4×4 and trailer to join our Corporate Deliveries Department and deliver premium service to our clients.
Single Car Transporter Driver – The Role:
As a Single Car Transporter Driver, you’ll be responsible for collecting and delivering new and used vehicles to a range of customers, including businesses, private individuals, retailers, auction sites, and hire car companies. You'll also demonstrate vehicle controls and functions to customers. Full product training will be provided to ensure you’re equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Single Car Transporter Driver – Key Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently collect and deliver vehicles as directed
– Accurately complete collection and delivery reports in line with client requirements
– Report accidents, damages, and faults promptly in line with company policy
– Complete administrative tasks as required
– Ensure the security of customers' vehicles and property
– Adhere to HSE policies and use PPE as needed
– Represent ECM professionally on the road and when interacting with clients
– Maintain a professional appearance and deliver exceptional customer service
Single Car Transporter Driver – You:
– A valid full driving license with B&E category
– A valid Driver Digital Tacho-graph card
– Previous driving experience in a similar customer-facing role
– Experience driving with a trailer (essential)
– Excellent attention to detail for vehicle inspections and paperwork
– The ability to manage challenging situations calmly
– A good knowledge of UK road networks
– The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
– No more than 3 penalty points; no DR or DD endorsements
– Preferably, a good working knowledge of electronic delivery paperwork systems
