DRIVER / MANCHESTER / COMPETITIVE PAY + GREAT BENEFITS
This is an exciting new opening for an experienced Driver to join a growing, dynamic organisation. Our repairs workshop is one of the largest in the UK and represents a £3m investment.
As part of our expansion plans, we have an excellent opportunity for a Driver to join our team, based out of our North-West Head Office in Trafford Park.
You will play a key role in ensuring the prompt collection and delivery of equipment to and from customers.
PLEASE NOTE: All candidates will be asked to complete a personality profile test before progressing to interview.

Key Responsibilities of the Driver:
- Delivering / collecting wide variety of industrial equipment from a few Kg’s to 3 tonnes
- Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and delivered with goods
- Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules
- Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery vehicle
- Ensuring company delivery vehicles are kept clean and presentable at all times
- Ensuring collected / delivered goods are transported in safe and secure way
- Assist with production when required with ad hoc activities
- Lifting may be involved
- Hand over leaflets and 'hang up’ cards to customers on site
- Communicate and build relationships with site engineers and stores personnel
- Call on customer sites while in the area to see if there is anything to collect
Skills & Experience Required:
- Solid experience in similar roles as a Driver
- Clean driving licence
- HGV Licence is preferred, but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic
- Good customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
