The Role
They\’re looking for a Category C Driver/Underground Operative to support their transport function. This role involves safely transporting customer assets across the UK and handling secure storage operations within their underground facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a variety of vehicles, including 18T & 7.5T box rigids and 3.5T vans
- Ensure on-time and secure delivery/collection of customer assets
- Accurately record handling data using a PDT system
- Transfer documents between the surface and underground storage facility
- Perform manual handling, palletisation, wrapping, loading, and unloading
- Represent DeepStore professionally with excellent customer service
- Complete all required paperwork and compliance procedures
- Adhere to mandatory health & safety standards

The Ideal Candidate

- Relevant driving experience with a Category C Licence (full & clean)
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
- Comfortable driving in rural, suburban, and urban environments
- Experience with long-distance driving on national routes

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
