Ultimate Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Container Drivers based in Coventry
Full Time Monday to Friday or adhoc basis to suit the driver
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday – block bookings on Am and Pm
- PM 15:00 -20:00 start time mainly around 16:00 starts
- AM shifts 04:00 -11:00
Pay Rates;-
BREAKS PAID
MINIMUM 8 HOURS PAID ALL SHIFTS
AM Monday to Friday paid from 04:00 all hours:
- £15.90 per hour PAYE
- £17.82 per hour PAYE including rolled up holiday pay
Nights Monday to Friday paid from 1500 all hours:
- £17.00 per hour
- £19.05 per hour includes rolled up holiday pay
Saturday all hours:
- £17.00 per hour PAYE
- £19.05 per hour PAYE includes rolled holiday pay
Sunday all hours:
£18.50 per hour PAYE
£20.17 per hour PAYE including rolled holiday pay

Role:
To deliver or collect containers mainly running to Felixstowe docks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations mainly Felixstowe
- Safely dealing with loading and offloading of containers including using trailers- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Qualifications:
- Container experience essential
- Valid C+E driver\’s license
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a HGV 1 driver essential
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Felixstowe rhides port card is required if yours has expired or you do not have your Felixstowe card this can be obtained by completing the online test – we will send you the link
- Paid assessment required
