We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join our client\’s dynamic production team. With sites in more than 20 countries, they pride themselves on innovation, quality, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Technician reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in our production processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Precision Assembly:Utilise military-quality hand crimp tools, soldering irons to military standards, and precision hand tools for electronic and cable assemblies.
Equipment Expertise:Operate specialised electrical and pneumatic equipment, including insulation stripping equipment, heat gun, microscope, dispenser, mixing and curing equipment, and job-specific jigs.
ESD Protection:Work in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protected environment to ensure the highest quality in electronic component manufacturing.
Product Development:Collaborate with Process Engineers to produce new products, corresponding assembly instructions, and actively contribute to the development of new processes and equipment.
Prototype Production:As a key team member, you will be involved in the production of prototypes and samples to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance:Conduct in-process inspections to uphold our commitment to meeting J-STD-001 & IPC-620 standards, ensuring the highest quality in our products.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you are likely to have:
Experience:Proven experience as a Production Operator in a similar electronic/electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:Ability to use military-grade hand tools, soldering equipment, and precision tools. Experience with J-STD-001 & IPC-620 standards is advantageous.
Engineering Drawings:Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed Engineering drawings.
