My client based in Bedford is looking for a skilled CNC Miller/Turner to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering, with experience in machining high quality components.
Day shift
Key responsibilities
Operate, set and program CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision engineered components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD Models.
Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feed for different materials and machining process.
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any mechanical issues
Work efficiently to meet production targets whilst maintaining high accuracy
Adhere to health and safety procedures
collaborate with engineers to improve processes and product quality.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Miller/Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
