Job Title: Forklift Counterbalance Driver
Salary: £13.00 per hour, weekly pay
Location: Norwich (NR5 & NR7 – Own transport required, as work is split between two locations)
Hours: Monday to Friday, alternating work patterns: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (rotating weekly)
About the Role:
Interaction Recruitment is excited to partner with a growing client based in Costessey who are seeking a reliable Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an immediate start opportunity, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
As an FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of goods, supporting the operations team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will have a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely loading and unloading goods from lorries
- Placing pallets in designated storage areas
- Managing stock rotation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Handling goods in and goods out processes
- Verifying that incoming stock matches the load sheet
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR)
- Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Own transport, as the role requires travel to both NR5 and NR7 locations
