Job Purpose
- Manage your own client portfolio, monitoring all commercial aspects of portfolio management
- Track job progress and biling targets to identify areas of improvement
- Monitor deadlines and work closely with senior team to ensure budgets and clients’ expectations are always met
- Preparation of accounts, returns, and income and corporation tax computations
- Oversee junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
- Use IT software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Support business development by scoping new service lines for your portfolio
- Work closely across departments to ensure clients are benefiting from an all-encompassing service
- Undertake adhoc duties where and when required
- Review processes and implement more efficient ways of service delivery
- Set an example as a hands-on and supportive Manager

- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years’ experience within practice
- Qualified by relevant experience also considered
- Adept at using accountancy software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff at all levels
- Excellent reporting skills and technically competent across the Microsoft suite
- A can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Highly organised and able to manage own workload effectively
- Confident working alongside senior management
