We are seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our clients team on a temp (possibly temp to perm basis)
Responsibilities
- Drive Class 2 HGV (7.5t & 18t)
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulation
- Collect deadstock from farms -this will require winching the carcases on board via either an electric or hydraulic winch, so it will involve physically handling deadstock
- Unload once back at site and wash out vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday (some ad-hoc Saturday\’s to meet business needs)
- 7am – 3pm (48 hours)
- £14.30phr, with a £2.50 uplift after working core 48 hours
- Uniform (inc. boots provided) and laundered onsite
Qualifications
- Valid (C) licence entitlement
- Valid CPC and Tachograph
- No more than 6 points
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
