Welder (MIG)
Location: ST4, Stoke-on-Trent
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (6 weeks)
Salary: £12.80 per hour (dependent on experience and weld test results)
Hours: 39 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client\’s team on a full-time, temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in MIG welding on medium to heavy gauge steel and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production welding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on medium to heavy gauge steel within a production setting.
- Ensure high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards.
- Work efficiently within a busy production team.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of MIG welding experience on medium to heavy gauge steel.
- Ability to work in a production welding environment.
- Successful completion of a weld test as part of the interview process.
- Robot operator experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test on the first day of induction as per company policy.
