MIG / TIG Sheet Metal Welder

Shifts: MONDAY – THURSDAY – 07:30-16:00 & Friday 07:30 -12:30

Pay: £15.00 – £18.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Welder to join our well-established client based in Rugby, EAST Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great benefits and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties:

Your day-to-day duties as a Machine Operative with our client will be:

  • Operating Welding units and equipment (MIG and TIG welding required)
  • Using metal working equipment such break presses, guillotines, punches, drilling and riveting
  • Fabricating bespoke products for customers
  • Working from plans and technical drawing
  • Going out to customer sites measuring up for new business
  • Performing checks against instructions to ensure product quality and conformity
  • Regular quality inspections and correcting any issues as soon as they arise

Essential Skills:

Essential skills needed to be a Welding Operative with our client are:

  • MIG and TIG fabricating experience
  • Driver\’s licence required due to client visits

Training:

  • On-site induction continued development and support throughout
