Prism 7 Resourcing is now seeking a transport coordinator for our client located in Harlow.
The person undertaking this role must have previous experience in working in a fast-paced, low cost, muti-drop operation with a good understanding of UK domestic road transport legislation.
The Transport Co-Ordinator will support the Transport Manager in the direction and administration tasks of drivers and fleet maintenance.
Debriefing drivers daily, including reviewing of telematics score cards and driver tachograph infringements and discussing areas for improvement. Ensuring Vehicle Collision reports are completed and passed over to the Transport Manager for route cause analysis. Obtaining delivery feedback on failed deliveries and none-delivered stock and pushing delivered orders through to systemised completion.
Liaising with service providers to book in maintenance inspection, vehicle defect and breakdowns which will include raising of purchase orders for Transport Manager approval.
Ensuring vehicle maintenance folders are keep organised with all relevant documentation present.
Cascading of information to drivers such as memos, standard operating procedures and tool box talks and supporting new driver inductions.
Assisting with note taking for meetings, investigations when required.
Pay rate: £12.5/h
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00 AM start time
Is a must having a full UK driving licence.
