Parkinson Lee Executive Search is working in partnership with Sheffield Hallam Students' Union to appoint its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Hallam Students' Union (HSU) is on an exciting journey of transformation, and they are seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead them into the future. With a new strategy in its final stages, a relocation on the horizon, and a growing need for partnership development, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of their organisation and enhance the student experience.
About the RoleReporting directly to the Chair of the Board, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership, driving HSU forward and enhancing student engagement.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including the University, external partners, and student representatives.
- Diversify income streams and develop new funding opportunities to ensure financial sustainability.
- Lead a committed team of career and student staff, fostering an inclusive and dynamic culture.
- Oversee the execution of a new partnership agreement with the University, ensuring HSU becomes an equal and influential partner.

- Experience in the third sector or a similarly complex organisation, with a track record of income generation and growth.
