Learning Mentor & Resource Assistant (Part Time) Required from January 2025, Fixed Term for 1 year Salary: Scale 5 Points 12 – 15 (£28, 891 – £30, 183   per annum, pro rata) Actual salary payable £11, 556 – £12, 073 per annum 35 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks) Oaklands School is a fully inclusive school with a wealth of opportunities for all learners to achieve their full potential. We are a School which serves the local community and promotes co-operation, responsibility and respect.  Oaklands School requires a Learning Mentor & Resource Assistant from January 2025 to work with the Sixth Form team, tutors and teachers. The successful candidate will provide academic support to students in the sixth form, as well as support the school in managing, maintaining and promoting the library and our brand new Learning Centre. You must be able to relate to young people, and have the ability to liaise with teachers and other professionals. You will need the ability to motivate and enthuse others, the ability to think strategically, creatively and be committed to lifelong learning.  Excellent literacy and communication skills are essential.
