Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Hostel Team Leader to work across their two hostel-based services for young people aged 16-25 years. The role will require working across Monday - Friday 9am-5pm at their site in Heckmondwike and Huddersfield.
The successful postholder will be responsible for the supervision of a team of 9, comprised of Support Co-ordinators and Night Support Workers.
Responsibilities of the Hostel Team Leader:- Delivering a high-quality support service to young people aged 16-25 years living within a hostel based setting
- Supervising a team of 9 staff members
- Ensuring staff rotas are updated and covered in times of absence
- Maintaining and monitoring policies and procedures within the team
- Supporting colleagues within the team through training and coaching
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with external working partners
- UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience managing complex rotas
- Experience working within a hostel or refuge based setting
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a Team Leader position
