We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead a team of 11 office-based and field-based sales professionals across retail and commercial sales channels. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a pivotal role for an energetic and experienced sales leader.
Key responsibilities include:- Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and coach a diverse sales team to maximise performance and achieve sales targets.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth across retail, commercial and export channels.
- Key Account Management: Leverage industry relationships to secure new business and strengthen partnerships with key garden centre groups.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
- Sales Targets: Identify gaps and opportunities in retail, commercial and export channels and drive focused sales activity towards delivering sales growth.
- Product Development Input: Provide insights and recommendations to the product development team to align offerings with market demands.
- Travel & Presence: Be office-based for 1-2 days per week, with national travel as required.
