Infinity Employment are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to work with an International Logistics Service, including Road, Air, Sea and Rail freight, also providing the best warehouse solutions in the UK. Their goal for this individual is to attain more of the business in Hampshire. This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and extremely driven to build their own area within Hampshire. The ideal candidate would have experience in transport and in B2B sales. £35,000 (open to negotiate) depending on experience within the industry. Commission structure discussed on interview.
Responsibilities:
- Increasing the percentage share of current customers and build loyalty
- Call and email new prospects/ build relationships
- Develop and implement strategies to build your area of new business, enhance profitability to achieve company goals
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable partnerships
- Monitor your performance metrics and KPIs to drive new business and acquire new opportunities for the business
- Visiting potential new customers for face-to-face meetings
- Successfully build a new area of the business
- Use good communication skills and your personality
- Is self-motivated and can work independently
Experience:
- Preferably from a transport background
- Proven experience in a managerial/Sales role, demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Ability to effectively manage and open new doors to win business
- Proactive leader in supporting and nurturing new relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with various customers
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
