We are recruiting for an IPS Employment Specialist who will work one-on-one with individuals, helping them navigate barriers to employment, build confidence, and secure sustainable work opportunities. You will collaborate closely with health professionals, employers, and community organisations to ensure the right support is in place for long-term success.
Duties:
- Manage a caseload of individuals, conducting in-depth assessments to understand their aspirations, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop bespoke action plans that align with individuals' career goals, ensuring realistic and achievable steps toward employment.
- Provide practical guidance on CV writing, job searching, interview techniques, and workplace adjustments.
- Offer consistent one-on-one support, setting SMART goals, tracking progress, and adapting strategies as needed.
- Work proactively with local employers to create inclusive opportunities and advocate for workplace adjustments where required.
- Deliver post-employment support to help individuals retain their roles, navigate challenges, and progress in their careers.
