What you’ll be doing:

  • As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for reviewing and aligning existing HR policies to ensure consistency and compliance with current best practices and legal standards.
  • You will play a key role in refining various HR processes, including recruitment, absence management, onboarding, training, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • You’ll also provide expert advice and support on Employee Relations matters, managing cases related to absences, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance issues.

What we’re looking for:

  • Prepare and issue HR documentation, including employment contracts, job descriptions, and employee communications.
  • Support the Senior leadership team with permanent recruitment, including candidate sourcing, conducting interviews, and overseeing the hiring process.
  • Lead the onboarding process for all permanent starters, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Assist the HR Administrator with the recruitment of temporary staff, including liaising with recruiting managers and agencies, screening CVs, and conducting interviews.
  • Assist in disciplinary and grievance hearings, ensuring accurate notetaking and coaching managers to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Coordinate and organise Occupational Health referrals.
  • Provide HR advice and support on matters such as maternity/paternity leave, flexible working, absence management, and disciplinary issues.
  • Prepare HR data and metrics with analysis and commentary for reporting purposes.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy on HRIS (Workday), time and attendance systems (i-Time), and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
  • Proven experience working within HR.
  • CIPD Qualified.
