Salary: up to £24,000 depending on experience
Location: 4 High Street, Wotton under Edge, Gloucestershire, GL12 7DB
Working hours: 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), 9am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch Mon-Thu and 1 hour for lunch on Fridays. Occasional Saturdays will be required from 9am to 1pm but you'll get time in lieu back during the week.
Please note this position is based onsite at Wotton Travel Offices 5 days per week.
Based at the Wotton Travel Ltd offices in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, we are looking for a Trainee Travel Specialist to work in the team supporting both our Business Travel and Leisure departments.
As a Trainee Travel Specialist, you'll be trained on how to handle business travel requests for corporate organisations, whilst also working in the leisure department selling holidays to the public.
About the role- Demonstrate a positive experience for customers when selling holidays
- Show confidence when handling customer enquiries both over the phone and in the travel agency
- Provide attention to detail when booking hotels, car hire and flights for a range of business and leisure customers
- Hold a post GCSE (or equivalent) qualification(s)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and demonstrate computer literacy skills to an intermediate level
- Able to communicate effectively and demonstrate numeracy skills
As a Trainee Travel Specialist, you'll be able to demonstrate your previous experience in accuracy and attention to detail in your work. You'll be passionate about providing a high standard of customer service and will value working collaboratively within the current team.
