EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

We\’re looking to recruit a Site Engineer to join our team based in Chipping Warden.

The Site Engineer is responsible on site for other junior engineers and assists in the construction operations in the Banbury area.

You will be required to liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out M&E works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.

You will be responsible for work with the other team members of the setting out team and be responsible for the performance and development M&E Sub-Contractors and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent. Specification and coordination of varied contractors and time frame to ensure smooth delivery in a \’just in time\’ fashion.

Ensuring that the team have all current information and resources required to carry out their duties, you will be required to assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.

About The Candidate
HNC/Degree (Construction/M&E related) or equivalent
You must hold a CSCS – White, White-Yellow, Red – Experienced, Black – Manager or Gold – Supervisor
Previous structures experience is preferred
Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
Experience in highways or structures is essential for this role
You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicleAbout The Company
