As Accounts/Finance Assistant you will work with colleagues undertaking as range of Sales Ledger and general accounts office duties including:

invoicing customers accurately and in a timely manner
-
chasing for payments when needed
-
processing customer deductions and raising and posting credit notes
-
directing invoice queries to the relevant department managers
-
supporting Purchase Ledger colleagues
-
providing holiday and absence cover for other team members as required
-
Supporting other members of the finance team with other processes including general admin duties.
This would be an ideal first job in Finance for someone and would also suit someone who is keen to further develop their finance career and work towards gaining professional accounts qualifications.
As Accounts/Finance Assistant there may be some flexibility regarding start and finish times but, the accounts department generally work 08:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours (office based)
To be considered as Accounts/Finance Assistant, previous experience of working in an office is essential, previous experience in an Accounts or Finance role would be ideal but the position is also likely suitable for someone wanting to start their finance career.
Candidates must also have:
