Join Our Team as a Domestic Assistant and Make a Difference Every Day!
Sherburn House is a complex care service, operating 24/7, and we support people with profound learning disabilities and complex physical health needs. We currently have 3 lovely ladies and 6 fantastic gentlemen living with us, ranging from 19 to 60 years old.
We are seeking someone who understands the true power of a fresh, clean environment. Someone who knows that the gleam of a well-polished floor and the sparkle of spotless windows can bring comfort and joy to the people who live here. Your work will bring smiles, peace of mind, and a sense of well-being to those who need it most.
What You’ll Do:
- Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and offices according to daily schedules.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored appropriately.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control standards.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents, staff, and visitors.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but your passion and dedication are what really matter.
